Stop and Think Caveman

Stop and Think Caveman

Once again I come out of that dark pit I call my cave, after looking out through my peephole with my narrow view of which I find so comfortable. You may ask why do I come out and have this narrow view of the world or just focus on only this one point alone. Well the truth is there are many sides, but I have been the advocate for all sides before and it just does not work. You still stand still like the rock soup that scientist clam we came from (evolution) of which I my friend believe that God created me. Well if this does not do something to move you to get off the fence and choose one side or the other. Then you people will never be anything but rock soup and evolution is true.

I have seen myself go in the military not once but three times, from 1979 to 1982 US NAVY and then again from 1984 to 1988 US ARMY OCS and then again 2001 to 2002 the NATIONAL GUARD. I never saw war because what I saw they did not call it war they called it a disturbance, yeah right! I was taught that you had to be but one thing and that was Gun ho, a go getter only one speed and that is on the military on and nothing else. I was and still am just doing things one way and never taught to do it any other. I believe that every service man should be compensated for his service no matter what his or her dispassion may be after; there are things that are done in the name of peace that just does not compute in the human remains that we who have served take home to our loved ones. I can show you the scares that remain, if you could look into my mind and electronically detect the difference in then and now, but I am afraid that I can’t. If you were to ask some or all of the service men what happened they would not be able to put it into words what is wrong with them or how they feel and how people still look at us strangely, but I am learning slow, I am.

The pictures that come back with us, the service man are not as accurate, just as they look! You see compassion but you don’t know how it got there, you see the hurt and sometimes the anger but you did not see the steps to get to those places. Man was made to love one another to hold the hand of each other not to just take lives; we do love and we do help but too few to really mention and most of the time it is after the damages are done. “I love my neighbor,” words that we should right here not just take us overseas to do? No! We should do that anyway but after we have done well to the man or woman right next door to us in our neighborhood and in our streets. Maybe if we did then we can see that when someone comes back from the war and things are not right we could help, just that would have saved my friend’s life, for 16 years he suffered and then died alone in his home, he fought for peace well now I guess he has peace now! These pictures only show some of what happens; inside these men they will forever be dealing with this and you will never ever know what in inside. And after when we come home we sometimes bring back the war and what we are trained and how we are trained to deal with this and sometimes it just does not work with life, and there is no one to help us, to bring us back or can they even bring us back once we leave? That is a good question huh? Well the end result may yet be waiting to be explored and the victims that we send to war may not be the victims of tomorrow.
