Who Carries The virtues of this Country

A call out of darkness

For most of us we have not heard the trumpet of a military bugler call us on station, to get ready for some kind of alert or to be counted and be accounted for. It is necessary for us to always be on the alert, well we were soldiers standing to the ready, I served in three branches of the military, I loved it and I think I was good at what I did, I served with heart.
If you have never been in a war or such then you may not know how to be at the ready; or to get mobilized in a minutes notice. This is the way it had to be for the serviceman and if he was not there on time it could cost a man’s life or even the platoon’s success.
Well! As an American we have duties, and as Godly Americans we have a greater duty and that is to always to be at the ready for a Godly purpose in this country. We are not to be lead by man but by God, and we are to have a great understanding of this country and how it works and take on a special type of Godly Patriotism. God expects us to help in guiding this country back to a state of moral function, God must be there in all things! And we should be so proud as to be ambassador, and be always willing to help this country in any way no matter who is in charge, See what God says the bible holds the key.
I find that we as Christians pay too much attention to who is in the white office; rather than pay attention to the part we need to play as to bring about the necessary changes that would bring this country its best. It is true that if we have in the white office the person that we think would work for our views it would work to our advantage. But it is sad to say that the only virtues that we can expect to get will be the ones that we would have to fight for. I am afraid that Christians have gotten too complacent, and need to get their heads together and know that we are not special anymore. We are like everyone else and we too need to play our part in this country. The day of getting is gone and we can not hold the common men true to the virtues of God. It maybe kind of strong language to say that we are the only care takers of God’s virtue that much is somewhat the truth. Well I say it in this way because some have not lived up to their pledge to God and have shaken the faith of man and now have to regain these virtues or our country is in peril.








Getting up

Let’s write a new book or something like that,
Set the stage write chapter and page.
About the life we lost, a little love and some misery,
Maybe something with God in it! A bit about His abiding love!

Well our fight goes deeper, deeper than I think,
Have we arrived to a Presidential place? Can we rest for just a bit?
Fathers have died; Mothers have had to bare the weight,
We are but only now getting up, up to stand on our feet.

Getting up came from our ancestors and it can’t stop with me,
I think I can pass it on.
They forged a path, and they did fight,
Who are we to stop right now, we don’t have the right!

So come on, yes you and you,
We are all part of this we just can’t stop.
We all should be getting up!
