Looking for that good man! A man’s prospective.

Wow! An epiphany (the light bulb went off inside my head; today got up and I just wanted to give everything I had away. All my earthly possessions, all of it) stop! Rewind this, not give all but most of it; Ah well, just a little of it, well see me tomorrow and I will tell you what I really mean (that is more like it). Well that is the way most people look at giving, they will not give it their all; they would hold back something. Because they have been hurt or don’t think that this is the right thing to do. Yes! I will say it. Us Christians too we don’t give our best all the time. We tend to hold back for whatever reason.
Sorry I can’t live that way! I will find myself giving from the heart and the first thing that comes to my mind is what God has impressed on my heart. Then I would try to fight God fearing that I made a mistake. Well I too have to adjust just like a lot of my fellow Christ follower, to stop and just do what God places on my heart; because the very minute that we take another look, we tend to change our mind and then that is it. (We have lost the battle and we are not what we say we are anymore!) Hard but true, there is supposed to be that part of God in each of us Christ followers, which Jesus left for us to finish his work; so that if we let Him do the job, then with our practice we will let the Holy ghost do His job and Christ will do the rest. I know that sounds easy and for some people it is, yes we are human that is why we need help.

There is a good thing to remember at all times that God is always there with us in our pursuit of being like Christ, but we just need to read the scriptures and follow them. Please don’t listen to the he said she said; always read the bible for yourself because when you see the scriptures for yourself it does make a difference.

I have seen men today and we are so lost and women don’t even know if the things they say are true or possible for us to do. I have found that I too have struggled with the man that I see and the man I am and the man I want to be or should be. What a struggle the thing is we have all the fix it books and do it this way books and they become the best seller then fade away into the mist of darkness. Well! There goes virtue out the door and in the trash. Please men look at a book that has been on the best seller’s list for ages and is still there and has changed the lives of so many. If you want to be a prize, then do what prize winners do! Read the bible, keep it in your heart and be the type a man that loves from the heart and soul. Show it in your every action and have God to be accountable to He is greater than you and you live up to a higher call at all times. You will find that you are not perfect but you live at the no compromising zone and you will always be respected for that a man of class. You will find it is easy to love all the way around; your wife and your children at home and the ones who you call your enemies, your co-workers and boss and friends, your neighbors and your church members as well. I am not saying that they will all like you but it would be easy for you to love them.








Labor of my love

The curtain fell today my dear, and the kids are out of school,
I had some laundry to pick up today is that something that you could do?
I think you are over burdened dear so I will put the dishes up,
You are not feeling good to night; there is tea down stars I’ll bring you a cup?

I love to do the things you ask in your eyes; sweet there is so much love,
I’ll wash your feet and rub them every night before you go to sleep.
I worship God each and everyday and He told me the key,
To treat you with greater love, that He given to me.

I will take the garbage out, after we all eaten,
I will tuck the children and you to bed before I end my day.
My first job is to God the Father and all that He has asked of me,
Then to you and all the kids I must provide for daily!

The next day off to work I’ll go to do battle with life,
Though countless hours I will sweat and fight; just to make things right!
And when I come to get some rest I’ll look into those eyes,
And know that my job has just began I have to love my wife.

I see this as no job at all, but doing things just right,
A man may do all the things you ask; and do it every day.
Though some may say that I am over worked,
This is just a joy for me to do, just the labor of my love.
